Les Cosmic
As an alternative to Chardonnay, this is another cracking example of Aligoté. From grapes grown in limestone in the Maranges area of Burgundy, this is gloriously drinkable and extremely versatile with food. More people need to get on board. Classy stuff.
Tasting notes
So fresh and lean, but with a slightly waxy texture. Textbook acidity through a combination of citrus and apple, while it also benefits from a touch of nuttiness. Simply delicious.
