An exciting new wave organic producer from the North Western part of Sicily, located in Alcamo within the province of Trapani. The history of this farm goes back three generations, yet it's the current generation that have firmly established itself.
Today, young winemakers Davide Adragna and his wife, Irene Figlia, are the face of the estate. Their first harvest under the moniker Criante was in 2019. Combining methods that speak to tradition and modern winemaking, this is a couple committed to making natural wine with a smile on their faces.
Criante’s operations consist of 15 hectares, consisting of Catarratto, Grillo, Nero d’Avola and Perricone. To add to a busy life, they also own Sicilì Bottega Biologica, a small food and wine market in downtown Alcamo, where they sell their own produce and products from other like-minded Sicilian food and wine producers.
Impressively, despite the heat and dry air from this region, the expressiveness and freshness of these wines are remarkable. Offering great value in the process.
