Ah, April. By now we should be fully into the spirit of Spring and enjoying the lighter evenings. This month's event will see us pour latest releases from some of our more interesting producers.
The event will feature some of Roy's more expressive wines, which provide an idea of the types of bottles you will find in future subscription packs. Expect a glass of bubbles before we pour some delicious examples of Chardonnay and Riesling from France, followed by a showstopper from mainland Spain, a quick detour to Loire, before our evening is rounded off with a battle of supremacy between two Nebbiolo's.
We’ll be pouring from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, or at least until the wine runs out.
It will be held at Kasa Cafe on New Cavendish Street (W1W 6YJ), located near Fitzrovia, which means good transport links via Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street stations.
Kasa Cafe is one of several, small independent venues (mostly artisanal coffee shops) we will be working with across London and Guildford to help us bring Roy's to the masses. Importantly, each venue offers a stylish, relaxed and unpretentious setting to enjoy wine. In Kasa's case, the coffee is pretty good too.
