Catarratto

Catarratto

From a forty year old vineyard planted within throwing distance from the Mediterranean on black volcanic soils. Grapes are hand harvested and crushed before spending one day on the skins, before being pressed off to concrete tanks.

Tasting notes

Verging between a white and orange wine with a beautiful shade of gold. This wine has some lovely texture. Think ripe stone fruits with a combination of smokiness and that familiar taste of salt. It's a serious wine, but it also brings proper joy.
