Chiroubles

Chiroubles

Fabulous stuff from a winemaker that embraces a love of wine and life. So elegant, charming and simply drinkable. This is Gamay and we love it.

From a hundred year old plot, planted over granite, some four hundred metres above sea level. Fermented as whole bunches for a fortnight, before the wine spent nine months resting in concrete eggs. Simple, but so much more. Deserves your attention.

Tasting notes

Charming and pretty, this is sumptuous stuff. The palate displays great tension and elegance. Beautiful forward fruit, but also with a bit of grit. Such an easy wine to kick back and enjoy.
