Rittersberg
Not your average bottle of Alsace wine. And certainly not the playbook for Gewürztraminer. Rejoice! This is a refreshing, beautifully crafted natural wine, with sediment and all. Very much light and easy going.
Gewürztraminer from 40 year old vines planted over granite in Scherwiller. The wine is macerated for two days and the juice pressed slowly to old casks for twelve months of ageing.
Tasting notes
A very different take on Alsace Gewürztraminer. It's fresh, very zesty and pithy. A whole load of pink grapefruit and lime on the palate. An invigorating drop with wonderful purity.
